Rapid Repair Rally raises over £5,000 for The Estuary League of Friends

Following the sale of the vehicles used in the inaugural Rapid Repair Rally 2025, participants have successfully raised £5,345 in support of The Estuary League of Friends, a charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for those in need of care, comfort and support in the local Topsham area.
The 2025 rally, organised by the team at Rapid Repair Network with support from LKQ, brought together nine teams from across the UK to compete in a variety of challenges and travel from location to location in style in ‘unique’ vehicles.
The funds raised will help The Estuary League of Friends continue delivering vital services, including practical home support, transport and a community hub – for older people, carers and vulnerable residents. Participants raised money in advance of the rally through donations and have doubled the amount with the sales of the vehicles used.
Rachel Gilpin, Chief Executive of Estuary League of Friends, said:
“We rely completely on donations so the generous amount from Rapid Repair Network has meant so much to us, especially over the Christmas period, a time where people come together and share joy. We all know the cost of living is increasing and as a small charity, we’re feeling that. We were able to offer Christmas dinners and full cooked breakfasts to our clients. It’s more than the meal for a lot of our visitors, it’s the joy and socialising that accompanies it.
The fact that the Rapid Repair Rally brought together people from across the country to have fun, which in turn raised money for people to have fun, was a real full circle moment! Our clients have loved seeing the pictures and I know they’re looking forward to seeing the film too.”
Managing Director of RRN, Rob Hawes, commented:
“We are extremely pleased to have raised over £5,000 for the amazing team at The Estuary League of Friends to allow them to continue making a huge difference to their local community. I’ve seen first-hand how they support the local community and we’re honoured to contribute towards their mission.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated, volunteered or sponsored the event.”
A feature length documentary about #RapidRepairRally25 will be launching in January on the Rapid Repair Network YouTube channel.
