Rev up for the debut ‘Rapid Repair Rally’

In just one week’s time, the first-ever Rapid Repair Rally begins in Wales. With 11 teams taking part, the two-day event will raise money for RRN’s chosen charity, Estuary League of Friends.
Organised by the Rapid Repair Network team with support from LKQ, the rally will feature convoy of unique cars, each purchased for under £1000 and customised in a variety of fun themes from a Star Wars Jaguar to The Inbetweeners’ Fiat Cinquecento.
The 500-mile route will take drivers and passengers from Cardiff through the Brecon Beacons, Snowdonia and Colwyn Bay before reaching the finish line in the Cotswolds. Earning points for imaginative fancy dress and completing challenges along the way, winners will be awarded at the gala dinner, hosted by Rapid Repair Network ambassador Alex Gray.
This year’s chosen charity, the Estuary League of friends, is committed to improving the lives and wellbeing of the older generation through life-changing services and social support.
Managing Director at RRN, Rob Hawes, said:
“We’re thrilled to launch the first Rapid Repair charity Rally, bringing together friendly competition and raising money for charity. The response has been amazing, and we look forward to spending time with our industry colleagues and car fanatics on the trip.”
A full back-up support crew will be provided by RRN, provider of reliable mobile vehicle repair services, to keep the convoy on the road should any of the participants need assistance or transport to the next challenge.
