Rapid Repair Rally Episode 2: The Journey Ends at the Finish Line

Final Episode follows teams to the finish line and celebrates the First Rapid Repair Network Rally

Rapid Repair Network has released the concluding episode of its documentary series, following the nine teams as they complete their 500-mile journey across Wales and into the Cotswolds.

Episode 2 picks up where Episode 1 left off, taking viewers through the dramatic landscapes of Snowdonia and along the North Wales coast to Colwyn Bay.

The teams continue to tackle challenges – including capturing selfies with seagulls and attempting to pronounce Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch – all while battling with their sub-£1,000 vehicles to make it to the finish line.

The documentary concludes with the convoy’s arrival in the Cotswolds and an awards ceremony celebrating the teams’ achievements.

Winners were announced across multiple categories, with prizes for Best Dressed, Best Banger, Overall Points Winner, Most Raised for Charity, and the coveted Mechanical Marvel award.

Throughout the rally, the RRN back-up crew kept the convoy moving, providing mechanical support and transport to checkpoints when needed.

Rob Hawes, Managing Director at Rapid Repair Network, commented:

“What an incredible journey this has been – from conception to completion. The rally proved to be a massive success, far beyond our expectations. The bonds formed between colleagues from across our industry were amazing to witness. We’re on target to have raised over £5,000 for The Estuary League of Friends, which will make a huge difference to them. We’re already fielding questions about plans for next year – watch this space!”

The event, supported by partner LKQ, successfully combined friendly competition with meaningful charitable fundraising.

The rally raised over £5,000 for The Estuary League of Friends, a charity dedicated to improving the lives and wellbeing of older people in rural Exeter and East Devon, with donations still being accepted via the GoFundMe page.
