Mission Motorsport confirmed as the official charity for the Rapid Repair Rally

Mission Motorsport is confirmed as the official charity partner of this year’s Rapid Repair Rally, Run to the Riviera, running from 25 to 27 August.

Mission Motorsport supports the recovery and rehabilitation of the Armed Forces community through motorsport. It gives those affected by military operations a route back through engineering, competition and teamwork.

Rob Hawes, Managing Director, Rapid Repair Network, commented:

“We started the Rapid Repair Rally as we wanted to do something different. Not another stand at another show, but two days on the road with the people we actually work with. You learn more about someone over a breakdown and a bad map reading than you ever will across a stand. This year we are backing Mission Motorsport and we are pleased to have them onboard. We had a good run last year and we want to go bigger this time.

Two days on the road, Bath down to the Torquay coast and back. Last year raised £5,000 for the Estuary League of Friends. This year we want to beat it. More teams, crazier challenges, a bigger number at the end.

Alex Atherton, Managing Director, Mission Motorsport

“We’re delighted to be the chosen charity for the Rapid Repair Rally this year. Partnerships like this mean a great deal to us, bringing together people who genuinely want to support the Armed Forces community. The funds raised will directly power our programmes, helping veterans to reconnect with their community, build confidence, develop skills and find new purpose. Motorsport works because it combines teamwork, focus and a shared goal in an environment that feels both familiar and motivating. This support will make a real, lasting difference. Thank you and best wishes to everyone taking part in the RRN Rally, Run to the Riviera.”

Eleven teams are confirmed and more are joining week on week. There’s still room on the grid, but it’s filling fast. If you’d like to be part of it, the conversation starts with Lizzie at Lizzie.cove@rrn.co.uk.

Full route, line-up and plans revealed closer to the start.
